Last day as a soldier. Going back to the place which has given me a fair share of good and not so good memory. The heart-felt time spent with the NSFs and WOSPECs and the not so good time with some of the officers. My DY is a good boss. He may expect very high standard but which real leader doesn't expect high standard? He may be very strict and sometimes fierce but these are not the worst traits which an officer can display. Scold me if I did something wrong, but dun behave like someone else. Suan me and think you are so good. Earning $130K p.a. in your late 30s is no big deal. Quite a fair share of people with similar or worse education bkgrd achieved that in their early 30s. Remain humble and true becos these are the traits which will make people admire you.

Back to the office, it seemed the culture have changed quite a lot. It seemd that people were going through a phase of re-charging. It's a well-deserved one. So many have suffered to justify your 130k p.a so give them a break.
