It was a moment of pride. After the disappointment during the Doha Games, the team did the nation proud. I couldnt believe when Amri scored the goal to give us a goal advantage. His solo run, timely and accurate excution was sublime. Too good to be true. However, as time tick, I thought it would be sooner or later before the defence will concede a goal. The defence with the help of luck was fortuante not to concede another goal. The apparently shaky defence wasnt totally the back fours' fault. Credit should be given to the Thais' attack which made our defence looks like a paper wall.

I have never really like the idea of foreigners playing for us but I have to comment that Mustafic and Shi did a good job in commanding the park. Nice that we won, but better if an all Singapore born/bred starting 11 can win it for us in the coming ASEAN Cup.
