Last duty!

The day that has been much anticipated. My last duty in my NS life. The journey here hasnt been that easy. Screw up in duty specs planning has resulted in CSM doing the planning himself and he wanted to put me on duty next month. Feeling cheated, I had to inform him that it has been a tradition that personnels are excused from duty 1 month before ORD. After much persuasion, he finally agreed to stick back to the tradition.

Unlike the past 4 duties in this month, today was a bright and hot evening when I lowered the flags. In addition, something which has troubled me to some degree has finally been solved. The driver who was involved in a minor accident with me came down to my camp and signed a memo for private settlement. This has been quite a dramatic experience for me in the past 2 days in the absence of my parents. An experience which has certainly made me grew. After this, I can finally sleep soundly. Waking up the next morning, 1 more day closer to ORD.
