17 days down under, 14 days outfield. It's offical. I am a Diamond Warrior.

Departed with a shaky start as the faulty plane meant a delay of 5hours. Reached the training area at 2am on 23rd Nov and departed for outfield the very next day. Both the weather and terrain is rather harsh there. Cold wind is constantly blowing onto your face after dusk and in the day, the sun burns your skin. The terrain aint any better. Unsettled sand will fly around the air when disturbed.

" Deployed in Wallaby makes me realised how much I appreciate the given freedom to move. The simple but much anticipated journey from Clementi Interchange home after work. The weekend trip to Somerset to feel the buzzing of town or the simple weekend breakfast with family. " Kel 281106.

" People tend to see the small picture but when the big picture is seen they seem to lose 'focus'; they become too sharp of blur but never just right.
'Ex Wallaby is not my show' " Kel 011206

It was nice to be close to nature again but working with people during such harsh condition aint the nicest experience. My feel is that the force should have a way or two to destress the crabs and bars to enhance our power. However, it is outfield which made me forget all the materials and focus more on making friends etc. The chat with Ranger Tohby on wine and fine dining was an enlightening one. Seeing wallabies staring at us in the wild is another delighting chapter.

The exercise cut at the start of December and it was back to base camp. The boredom was broken with a trip to a beach. This trip itself is worth the ourfield 'experience'.

2 days in Rockhampton was a boring one. The shopping malls are boring and the things are expensive. Not the best place for shopping. Perhaps, we should have taken a cab to Yeppoon and chill.
