ME

A nice weekend getaway. The beautiful sun shining onto the serene and clear water. The ripple on the sand created by the wave is rather magnificent. Beautiful clear water. The white sands is accompanied by see weeds and shells. Tanned - The result of swimming under the hot sun for an hour plus. This is probably the experience I enjoyed most.

On top of that swim on a beautiful island, the kelong offered bannana boat and canoeing. The skill of the driver who drove the bannana boat was real good. No matter how hard the few of us tried to avoid getting capsized, we couldnt but lose balance and fell into the salty water. Drink salt! I canoed on the 2nd day morning. A short trip round the kelong, it wasnt that pleasant probably because there were only 2 canoes and my bed hurts from last night. Despite the canoeing wasn't that pleasant, it shows traces of fun. Hope the traces of fun will prevail over the pain next time.

The food was sumptuous! Crab, prawns and really really fresh fish. Free flow of coffee and tea throughout the day. Haha.."How many cups of coffee and tea have you drank?"
"Not many. Not many." Its quite a paradise for a caffeine addict like me. I do prefer to be called caffeine connoisseur though. FYI. Haha...

The downside is probably that the room isn't that classy. Too kampong and too close to nature I suppose. But having gone through field camp etc, it's actually quite alright but only that its sponge bed kills! The table soccer is quite worn down so it demerit some points. The KTV is not bad. Do bring your own discs when you visit there to increase the variety of songs.

Beautiful sunset just outside my room.
