Visit to Taipei on 40806.
Some of my thoughts after the trip to Taipei. Gonna keep it short.
Ximending : Not so much of night market but a hangout for teens. Looks a funky place but doesn't seem to be happening after 12. Two party world to spend your nite there though. The streets is rather nicely tiled, giving you a bit of modernised Renan feel.
Dan Shui : Something different. The journey there on train was already an experience. The place to get local products. Quite a fair share of shops selling intricate wood pieces and souvenir. A should go.
Shilin : Quite a let down. Crowded but plain nite market.
Wu Fen Pu : Baragain. Selling lots of cheap clothes. Shirt at $5, 3/4 at $8, jeans at $15. A must go.
taipei 101 : Experience. The building is a tall building. FULL STOP. The streets do give you a bit of walkin on Japan?
Raohe : Small nite market.
